This is a 6-hour introductory course taught by one of our certified firearms instructors. This includes both classroom time and live range time learning how to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. At the end of the course, students will receive feedback on all live-fire exercises along with a certificate of completion.

Rules for safe gun handling
Pistol parts and operation
Ammunition
Shooting fundamentals
Range rules
Shooting from the bench rest position along with two handed standing positions
This is a 6-hour introductory course taught by one of our certified rifle instructors. This includes both classroom time and live range time. Proper eye and hearing protection will be provided to all students. At the end of the course, students will receive feedback on all live-fire exercises along with a certificate of completion.
Students will learn:
Rifle knowledge and safe gun handling
Fundamentals of ammunition and safe rifle operations
Fundamentals of rifle marksmanship
Proper cleaning and storage of all types of rifles
Firing the first shots
Shooting sports and related activities along with advice on rifle selection
This is an 8-hour (1 day) introductory course taught by one of our certified instructors. Proper eye and hearing protection will be provided to all students. At the end of the course, students will receive feedback on all live-fire exercises along with a certificate of completion.
This 2-hour course serves as a new shooter introduction and includes a pistol simulator. We firmly believe that safety is a mindset rather than a lever on a firearm. The NRA defines safety on a firearm “as a mechanical device that can fail.”
Students will learn the NRA safety guidelines including:
How to use the gun safely
How to ensure the gun is safe to operate
How to ensure the correct ammunition for the gun
The importance of eye and ear protection
Proper gun storage
The different safety precautions for different types of guns
This 2-hour course will provide training in the necessary techniques to disassemble and reassemble the pistol or rifle of the student’s choice. This includes both classroom time and hands-on time. Students will need to bring their own firearm, cleaning tools, solvents, and 25 rounds of appropriate ammunition. These items can also be obtained at the range.
Students will learn:
Basic firearms safety
Proper levels of maintenance necessary for the firearm
Applicable solvents and lubricants
Rust prevention or removal
Specific disassembly instructions for the weapon
Specific reassembly
How to check for unusual wear and tear
How to safely accomplish function checks on the weapon
This is a more advanced 4-hour course taught by one of our certified instructors. This includes both classroom time and live range time. Once you have the basics down, you’ll be ready to learn how to handle active shooter situations and other dangerous threat incidents. This intense course is designed with one goal in mind: to save lives.
Students will learn:
What takes place in real life defensive shooting situations
How to handle a gun under stress
What constitutes a deadly threat
How to make accurate shot placements rapidly and under stress
Tactical reload
Malfunction clearances when things go wrong with the pistol
